Abuja, February 23th, 2026.– The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Miriam Morales Palmero, held a working meeting with Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, to brief him on the complex situation currently facing the Island following the tightening of coercive measures imposed by the Government of the United States, and to address pending issues on the bilateral agenda.

Bogotá, February 20, 2026 – The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, headed the Cuban delegation that attended the Inter-Ministerial Political Consultations and the Fifth Round of Migration Talks with the Republic of Colombia. The Colombian delegation was led by Vice Ministers Juana Castro Santamaría and Mauricio Jaramillo Jassir, respectively.
The TKP organized a protest in solidarity with Cuba under the slogan: “U.S. genociders, keep your hands off Cuba,” in rejection of the tightening of the economic blockade against the island.
The Cuban ambassador-designate to Fiji, Néstor Torres Olivera, held a fraternal exchange with young professionals from the Pacific who graduated from Cuban medical schools. The meeting strengthened ties with the alumni community who are now driving the healthcare systems of their respective islands after training under the principles of the Cuban medical school.

Pretoria, 22 February 2026.- Young Cubans living in South Africa reaffirmed their love for their homeland and their rejection of the intensification of unilateral coercive measures against Cuba at a meeting held on Sunday. With their messages of solidarity, the young people reaffirmed that Cuba is not alone and that the Cuban spirit that characterises us is never lost, even despite the geographical distance.
