London, 2 April – The Cuban Embassy in the United Kingdom hosted the launch of ‘La Cuba Profunda’, a proposed tourist itinerary designed for eastern Cuba. The presentation of the product was led by academic Par Kumaraswami, Director of the Centre for Research on Cuba at the University of Nottingham, and Dr Ibrahin Amhed León Tellez, professor at the Centre for Local Development at the University of Granma and member of the Cuban Academy of Sciences.
Spanish Town, 1 April 2026. The Ambassador of Cuba to Jamaica, Tania López Larroque, paid a visit to the ‘CG Foster’ College of Physical Education and Sport, an educational institution donated by Cuba to the brotherly Jamaican people. The idea for this college was conceived following Fidel’s first visit to Jamaica and his discussions with the then Prime Minister, Michael Manley. Both leaders regarded sport as a powerful unifying force that promotes healthy competition, goodwill and tolerance.

Abuja, April 1, 2026.– The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Miriam Morales Palmero, held a fruitful meeting with the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Abubakar Sani Bello, during which issues of bilateral and international interest were discussed.
Islamabad, March 31, 2026. The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Damián Cordero Torres, was received by the Palestinian Ambassador to this capital, His Excellency Dr. Zuhair M. H. Zaid, during a courtesy visit to the sister diplomatic mission. The meeting, held one day after the commemoration of Palestinian Land Day, provided an appropriate setting for the Cuban Ambassador to reflect on that anniversary in honor of the dignity and resistance of the Palestinian people.
