Lebanon’s Popular Democratic Party Reaffirms Full Support for Cuba

The Popular Democratic Party of Lebanon reaffirmed its support for the Cuban people on Tuesday in a statement issued by the political organization.

“We, in the Popular Democratic Party of Lebanon, declare our full support for the Cuban Revolution, which represents a model opposed to the brutal capitalist system,” the statement read.

Cuba Reports to the IAEA on the Serious Impact of the Blockade

Vienna, June 10, 2026. – Cuba reported to the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that the intensification of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States is severely hindering its access to nuclear technical cooperation and causing an unprecedented deterioration in the health of its population.

Ankara Hosts Solidarity Event with Cuba and Tribute to Army General Raúl Castro Ruz

The event “Why Do We Defend Raúl?” was held at the Nâzım Hikmet Cultural Center in Ankara, organized by the Cuba-Türkiye Friendship Association on the occasion of the 95th birthday of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, and to denounce the recent accusations made against him by the United States government.

 

Cuban ambassador presents courtesy copies to Tuvalu's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Labor, and Trade

Suva, June 10, 2026.- Cuban Ambassador, Néstor Torres Olivera, presented to the Honorable Paulson Panapa, Tuvalu’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Labor, and Trade, the copies of his Letters of Credence, accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Tuvalu. The ceremony took place at the offices of the High Commissioner of Tuvalu in Fiji. 

The meeting focused on reviewing bilateral and multilateral issues while commemorating the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Tuvalu, which began on April 26, 2006.

Cuba´s participation in the 3rd BRICS Neuroscience Symposium 2026

New Delhi, June 10, 2026- Dr. Mitchell Valdés, Director of the Cuban NeuroScience Center, represented Cuba at the 3rd BRICS NeuroScience Symposium, held in Tamil Nadu, India. In a program of meetings held in New Delhi, the Cuban scientist exchanged with representatives of the Ministry of Science and Technology of India, the Department of Biotechnology and other institutions.
