Oslo, June 26, 2025. Juan Alfonso Fernández González, advisor to the Cuban Ministry of Communications, is actively participating in the Internet Governance Forum 2025, taking place in Lillestrøm this week.

His participation as a panelist at the Open Forum "Building Bridges for the World Summit on the Information Society  WSIS Plus: A Multistakeholder Dialogue" was significant.

The Cuban expert also attended a consultation session held by the co-facilitators of the WSIS+20 process, which is underway in preparation for the upcoming UN General Assembly.
