Cuban Government Announces Decision to Grant Pardons to More Than 2,000 Prisoners

As part of the process of granting penitentiary benefits established by law, and in accordance with Article 90, subsection II of the Constitution of the Republic, the decision was made to release 2,010 convicted individuals through a pardon approved by the Cuban government.

The Cuban Ambassador conveyed the Cuban government's gratitude to the Liberian people and government for their support of Cuba in its struggle against the U.S. blockade.
