100 Years with Fidel from Zimbabwe

Harare, September 22, 2025 – Members of the Cuban Embassy and the Medical Brigade in Zimbabwe today, in the centennial year, paid tribute to the historic leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, before the monument that bears his name in this capital.

 

The commitment to the homeland and the daily fulfillment of the tasks assumed are the best consideration and contribution to the celebration of "100 Years with Fidel," emphasized Ambassador Susellys Pérez Mesa.

 

Association of South African Graduates in Cuba rejects US presence in Latin America and the Caribbean

Pretoria, September 20, 2025.- The Association of South African Graduates in Cuba (CAASA) issued a message of solidarity with Cuba, Venezuela, and the rest of the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean following recent threats from the US administration. The statement condemns the US military presence in the Caribbean Sea and surrounding areas and calls for the withdrawal of troops.

Exhibition in honor of Tamara Bunke opens in St. Pölten, Austria

Vienna, September 19, 2025.– First Secretary Lisset González López attended the opening of an exhibition dedicated to the life and legacy of Tamara Bunke, “Tania la Guerrillera,” at a ceremony held in St. Pölten, capital of the federal state of Lower Austria.

The exhibition pays tribute to the internationalist and revolutionary who dedicated her life to the struggle for justice and the sovereignty of peoples. The event was attended by representatives of social movements, members of the academic community, and friends of Cuba.

Cuban Consulate General in Istanbul joins Day of Solidarity with Venezuela

As part of the World Day of Solidarity with Venezuela, held this Friday at the Consulate General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Istanbul, the Consul General of Cuba, Raúl Ernesto Madrigal Cárdenas, together with Consuls Lisvan Aleaga Tamayo and Amelia Sánchez Frade, expressed their firm support for the Venezuelan people and signed in a show of solidarity.

The inhumane and criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the Government of the United States against Cuba, as has been emphasized by several Rapporteurs of the Human Rights Council, constitutes a massive, flagrant and systematic violation of the human rights of the entire Cuban population.
