Pretoria, 21 March 2026. —Members of the Cuban Embassy in South Africa, together with representatives from the various Cuban cooperation brigades, and Cubans livings here, marked the 30th anniversary of the arrival of the first health specialists in the country with a friendly game of softball. In a very Cuban atmosphere, with baseball, dominoes, caldosa and the Van Van music group, the event celebrated not only achievements in healthcare but also the friendship between Cuba and South Africa, symbolized by the relationship between Fidel Castro and Nelson Mandela.

The Communist Party of Austria in Styria (KPÖ Steiermark) and the Communist Youth of Austria (@kommunistischejugend) made a donation of medicines worth 10,000 euros, which are already in Cuba as part of the Convoy Nuestra América, an international initiative that will converge in Havana on March 21 to deliver material aid to the Cuban people.

Cuba deposits the instrument of extension of the ARCAL Agreement

At the headquarters of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the Republic of Cuba deposited the instrument of extension of the Agreement on Cooperation for the Promotion of Nuclear Science and Technology in Latin America and the Caribbean (ARCAL).
