Grenada's Foreign Minister receives Cuban Ambassador

Cuban Ambassador to Grenada, Yadirys Echenique Paz, was received by the Honorable Joseph Andall, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development of Grenada, with whom she held a working meeting.

During the meeting, in which various bilateral issues of common interest were addressed, both parties highlighted the positive state of bilateral relations and expressed their interest in continuing to strengthen cooperation in different areas.

Officials from the Embassy of Cuba in Washington, D.C., led by Deputy Chief of Mission Tanieris Diéguez, delivered a lecture on the Helms-Burton Act at Howard University School of Law.

Catholic hierarchy in Trinidad and Tobago expresses solidarity with Cuba

Committee of Grenadian Graduates expresses solidarity with Cuba in the face of the U.S. blockade

A meeting was held at the Cuban Embassy in Grenada between officials from the diplomatic mission and members of the Committee of Graduates in Cuba, led by Ambassador Yadirys Echenique Paz, Consul Ariel Pazos Ortiz, and the Committee’s coordinator, Malachy Dottin. 

During the meeting, the diplomatic officials provided a detailed briefing on Cuba’s current situation to the former students in attendance, who expressed their concern over the latest escalation in U.S. hostility toward the largest island in the Caribbean.

UWI Expresses Solidarity with Cuba Amid Energy Crisis

Port of Spain, March 17, 2026. The University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine campus, served as the venue for a demonstration of solidarity with Cuba during a conference held at the Institute of International Relations. At the event, the Cuban Ambassador, Gustavo Veliz Olivares, thanked Professor Rose Marie Belle Antoine, Principal of UWI St. Augustine, for promoting a support campaign aimed at helping address the energy crisis facing the Caribbean island.
