Consular Acceptance Certificate presented to Cuban Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City

On March 10, Director General of the Consular Department Doan Hoang Minh presented the Consular Acceptance Certificate to Mr. Mauricio Alejandro Martínez Duque, the Cuban Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, whose consular jurisdiction includes Ho Chi Minh City, succeeding Ms. Ariadne Feo Labrada at the end of her term. Speaking at the ceremony, the Director General of the Consular Department congratulated Mr. Mauricio Alejandro Martínez Duque on his appointment as the Cuban Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City. He expressed confidence that the new Consul General will actively contribute to enhancing the relations between Vietnam and Cuba in general, and consular cooperation in particular.

The Cuban diplomat greeted the host ambassador, whom he congratulated on the occasion of the upcoming March 17 celebration of this holiday of Catholic origin in honor of Saint Patrick (patron of Ireland), while also celebrating their national day commemorating the founding of that Republic. In this context, Pino Martínez wished her success in her performance before the Irish diplomatic mission in Cyprus.
