In a beautiful gesture of solidarity, commitment, and support for the homeland and the numerous families affected by Hurricane Melissa, Cuban healthcare professionals working in Qatar, together with the Cuban Embassy, ​​sent a container to the province of Santiago de Cuba to help the affected families. Cuban residents and Arab friends in this Gulf country joined in this initiative.

The Cuban Embassy in Thailand is paying tribute to Fidel Castro (1926–2016), the historic leader of the Revolution, on the ninth anniversary of his death. 
The Commander-in-Chief dedicated his life to promoting education, health, science and international solidarity — principles that continue to inspire efforts both in and outside Cuba. His legacy continues to inspire generations who grew up with the belief that a better world is possible. 

The exaggerated and aggressive military presence of the United States in the region constitutes a threat against Latin America and the Caribbean as a whole.

With the encouragement of the Secretary of State, the main and immediate target is the violent overthrow of the government of Venezuela through the use of U.S. military force, an extremely dangerous and irresponsible action with unpredictable and incalculable consequences.

Given the manifest degree of threat, this constitutes a violation of International Law and the Charter of the United Nations.

Lebanon pays tribute to Fidel on the 9th anniversary of his death

The Cuban Embassy in Lebanon paid tribute to Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz on the 9th anniversary of his death. Ambassador Jorge P. León Cruz began the ceremony by highlighting the significance of this commemoration, which coincides with the centenary of the birth of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution.
