Roseau, February 2, 2019. A total of 28 269 medical consultations carried out in 2018, the Cuban medical brigade that provides services in the sister nation of Dominica. The figure was announced by the head of the brigade, Dr. Isolina López Cardoso, at the meeting held yesterday night, February 1, 2018, at the Hospital Princesa Margarita, the main hospital in the country; in which the results of the work carried out last year were analyzed. The number of consultations represents 39% of the total population of Dominica, whose figure exceeds 73 thousand inhabitants.

Port of Spain, February 2nd – A group of 33 Cuban doctors arrived to the capital of Trinidad as part of the cooperation in the health sector developed by both countries since 2003.
