Addia Ababa, 11 February 2019. The XXXII Assembly of the African Union approved a Resolution entitled; " Resolution on the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on the Republic of Cuba by the United States of America".
The text is based on the UN Resolition on the matter approved last November in New York and considers the blockade as an illegal, long standing and unjustifiable policy imposed on Cuba.
