The Launch of Expor TT´s Pavilion at the 36th Havana International Trade Fair (FIHAV 2018), Cuba.

The Embassy of Cuba is pleased to invite you to participate in a small and heartfelt ceremony in tribute to the victims of the Barbados 1976 Terrorist Attack on the Cubana de Aviación Flight 455 in its 42nd anniversary. 

The programme consists of a wreath laying ceremony and brief remarks by the Ambassador of Cuba.

This event will take place at the Atrium of Piarco International Airport by the Plaque unveiled in 2016 for this occasion.

The Cuban Ambassador will share information about the Cuban Resolution entitled "Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba" which will be voted on, on October 31st, 2018 at the United Nations General Assembly.

Dublin, October 1, 2018.- The Cuban Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Ana Teresita Gonzalez Fraga concluded her bilateral visit to Ireland in which she presided, together with the Secretary General of the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Niall Burgess, a fruitful and intense session of bilateral consultations.

Addis Ababa, October 21, 2018. The Ambassador of Cuba to Ethiopia, H.E. Mrs. Vilma Thomas hosted a Press Conference at the Cuban Embassy  to present the Report of Cuba 2018 on the US blockade.

The diplomatic pointed out that from April 2017 and March 2018, the blockade has caused loses to Cuba for 4 321 200.00 USD.

The UNGA will vote on the 31 October on the issue. Last year, 191 States voted in favour of the lifting of the US blockade and two against.

Doha, October 2, 2018. - The Ambassador of Cuba in the State of Qatar, Mr. Eumelio Caballero Rodríguez, held a meeting today with Mr. Ahmas Abdulla Al-jamal, President of the General Customs Authority of Qatar.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and perspectives for strengthening cooperation between Cuba and Qatar in the customs sector. The meeting was held in a cordial and friendly atmosphere.
