Riyadh, November 17, 2012 - Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, sent a congratulatory message to his Omani counterpart Hon. Mr. Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah, on the occasion of the National Day of the Sultanate of Oman, on November 18.
Cuba and Oman established diplomatic relations on May 23, 1994. In recent years there has been a further strengthening of bilateral relations between the island and this Arab nation, through the exchange of official visits by representatives of both governments and the increase of cooperation perspectives in the field of health.
Riyadh, November 17, 2012 - The Cuban Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia H.E. Enrique Enriquez was received here today by the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah.
During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and discussed a number of topics of common interest for both countries in the field of health.
The meeting was attended by General Supervisor of General Department of International Relations Dr. Afaf Al-Shammari.

The Cuban ambassador to the State of Qatar, Alain Pérez Torres, was received by H.E. Mohammed Saif Al-Sowaidi, Director of the Americas Department of the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA).
At the meeting, both parties highlighted the good state of relations between both countries and the excellent results in cooperation in the health sector. Likewise, business and investment opportunities in Cuba in prioritized sectors of interest to the country were evaluated.
