A soccer cup dedicated to Fidel's centenary is inaugurated in India.

With the presence of comrade M. A. Baby, General Secretary of the Communist Party of India - Marxist (CPI-M) and the Cuban Ambassador, Juan Carlos Marsán, the “Fidel Castro Centennial” Soccer Cup, organized by the National Committee of Solidarity with Cuba in India, was inaugurated.

The Cup pays tribute to the legacy of the undefeated Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, with the aim of honoring and remembering his humanist thinking, particularly the development of sport, with access for all citizens, as a right of the people.

Solidarity friends send donation to Cuba from Australia

Canberra, 2 August 2025 - The Australia-Cuba Friendship Society (Brisbane Branch) sent medical supplies to Cuba through member Jeanine de Almeida, who participated in the Brazilian Caravan of Solidarity in mid-July.

This shipment was made possible thanks to the support of the Queensland Nurses and Midwives' Union, which facilitated contact with Save Our Supplies, an organization that generously donated the materials sent.
