Cuba and Norway united in sports
Oslo, March 24th, 2022. The Ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, attended a preparation session of Norwegian athletes who will take part in the European Wrestling Championship, which will take place in Budapest in early April.
Oskar Marvik, from the 130 Kg division, is among those athletes. He has had the outstanding Cuban wrestler Oscar Pino Hinds as his training sparring partner throughout this month.

Oslo, March 19, 2022. The ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, participated in a meeting of the Latin American and Caribbean Group (GRULAC) with the Norwegian Minister for International Development, Anne Beathe Tvinnereim.
In a cordial atmosphere, Norway's priorities in international cooperation and the possibilities to boost its projection in this area towards Latin America and the Caribbean were addressed extensively.

Oslo, March 18, 2022.- The staff of the Cuban embassy in Norway met at the headquarters of this diplomatic mission to hold its popular consultation meeting on the new Code of Cuban Families.
The president of the Electoral Commission of the Embassy, Maité Rivero Torres, led the meeting, in which the participants offered their criteria and made proposals as a contribution to the conception of a law of great relevance for the country.
