Ambassador of Cuba exchanges with International Secretary of the Communist Party of Norway (NKP)
Oslo, January 5, 2022. The ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, held a friendly meeting with Svend Haakon Jakobsen, international secretary of the Communist Party of Norway (NKP).
The Ambassador thanked for the actions in support of Cuba that the NKP has traditionally carried out, especially those of last year 2021 aimed at demanding the end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States and denouncing the ongoing campaign of subversion and destabilization against the Cuban Revolution.

Oslo, January 1, 2022. The Norwegian Communist Party (NKP) sent the Cuban Embassy a message of congratulations on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
" We stand together in our common fight against the Corona pandemic, imperialism, the illegal extraterritorial blockade, racism, fascism and war, for peaceful international cooperation, and national self-determination", the NKP notes in its message, signed by the president, Runa Evensen, and the international secretary, Svend Haakon Jacobsen.
Message from the Friendship Association with Cuba in Norway on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the Cuban Revolution
January 1st is the day the Cuban People mark the 63rd anniversary of their revolution. For us in the solidarity movement is an extra important day to mark and be proud of.
Since the triumph of the revolution in 1959, Cuba has stood firm with its principles and the struggle for “another world is possible", even during the pandemic that still affects our every single day.

Havana, November 24, 2021. The Norwegian sailboat Statsraad Lehmkuhl arrived at the port of Havana as part of its journey around the world to generate new knowledge about the use and preservation of marine resources.
During their stay in Cuba, from the 24th to the 28th of this month, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment will accompany the activities programmed with the crew, which aims to contribute to generating ocean research and knowledge of global interest.
