Ambassador extends birthday congratulations to Norway´s King Harald V
Oslo, February 21st, 2022. On the occasion of the 85th birthday of His Majesty the King Harald V of Norway, the Ambassador Maité Rivero Torres had the honor to visit the Royal Palace to convey sincere congratulations on behalf of the Cuban Government and people, and on her own behalf.

Meeting between ICAP and Friendship Association with Cuba in Norway

With the aim of strengthening the work of solidarity with Cuba in Norway and developing relations with one of its main actors, a virtual meeting was held between the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) and the Association of Friendship with Cuba in the Nordic country.
Cuba represented in activity for the 30th anniversary of the 4F rebellion in Venezuela

It was an honor for the second secretary, Mr. Daffne Mirabal García, to participate in the commemorative activity organized by the Embassy of Venezuela for the 30th anniversary of the rebellion of February 4 (4F) of 1992, led by Commander Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, which opened a stage of profound changes in the history of that sister nation. The Electoral Commission of the Embassy of Cuba to Norway took office
Oslo, January 18, 2022. Today afternoon, the Electoral Commission of the Embassy of Cuba to the Kingdom of Norway took office in a solemn gathering. The Electoral Commission will be responsible for organizing, conducting and supervising the development of the process of popular consultation on the draft of the new Cuban Families´Code.
The Electoral Commission is made up of Maité Rivero Torres, as president, and Juan Carlos Galbán Prieto and Neisi Mena López, as secretary and member, respectively.

The ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, held a videoconference with Jorun Nossum, deputy director, and Sonja Jakobsen and Guro Glavin, specialists, from the Oceans Section of the Department for Climate and Environment of the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD).
