President of the Association of Ethiopians who studied in Cuba and now reside in Norway paid a visit to the Cuban Embassy
Oslo, April 26, 2022. The president of the Association of Ethiopians who studied in Cuba and now live in Norway, Tesfaye Korfil, paid a visit to the Cuban Embassy in this country to hold a meeting with the ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres.
In a friendly atmosphere, in which the memories of the years lived on the Island brought out great emotions, Tesfaye expressed his eternal gratitude to the Cuban Revolution and the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz for the opportunity given to him and his fellow citizens to study and graduate from different specialties.
A young Norwegian friend travels to Cuba to participate in international events

At the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy, the ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, received Paulius Eidukas, a young member of the Norway-Cuba Friendship Association and the Norwegian Communist Party (NKP), who will travel to Cuba this weekend to take part, on behalf of both organizations, in the XV International Brigade of Voluntary Work and Solidarity with Cuba “May Day”, from April 23 to May 8.
Norwegian friends deliver solidarity aid to Cuba
Oslo, April 6, 2022. Recently, two members of the Friendship Association with Cuba in Norway, Arne Husum and Hans Martin Solberg, made a trip to Cuba to get in touch again with a country they deeply appreciate and admire.
Arne and Hans took the opportunity to take with them, as part of their luggage, a modest donation of medicines and medical supplies, which they delivered, on behalf of the Association, to the "Hermanos Ameijeiras" Hospital, in Havana.
Solidarity with Cuba and condemnation of the blockade in Kristiansand, Norway
Oslo, March 28, 2022. Last Saturday, March 26th, an activity took place in Kristiansand within the framework of the "UnBlockCuba 2022" campaign, at the initiative of the Friendship Association with Cuba in Norway and a similar organization that operates in the south of the country.
Ambassador held meeting with the Energy Section of the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD)
Oslo, March 24, 2022. The ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, visited the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD). There she had a useful meeting with Elisabeth Clemens and Ingunn Kroksnes, head and senior adviser, respectively, of the Energy Section of the Department for Climate and Environment.
The Norwegian officials gave a detailed explanation about the structure and priorities of a Section that, within NORAD, works for Sustainable Development Goal No. 7: Affordable and clean energy.
