Members of Norway - Cuba Friendship Association demand the end of the US blockade

Oslo, Norway.- Members of the Norway – Cuba Friendship Association expressed their condemnation of the US blockade against Cuba, demanding the end of this policy that has lasted for more than 60 years.

In a recorded message, Cihan Karakoc, president of the Association, described the blockade as an illegal, cruel and genocidal act, restating the call to the United States to stop the constant aggressions against Cuba.

Cubans in Norway take part in XV ECRE

Oslo, Norway.- Cubans living in Norway gathered at the headquarters of the Embassy of Cuba, to take part in a new edition of their regional meetings, together with other compatriots living in Europe. The aim of the event being to coordinate activities in support of their homeland.

Norwegian friends take part in XIX European Solidarity event

Oslo, Norway.- Members of the board of the Norwegian-Cuba Friendship Association, headed by its president Cihan Karakoc, took part in this XIX meeting, excited about the possibility of exchanging experiences with their peers in the Old Continent.  

Deputy Foreign Ministers of Cuba and the Kingdom of Norway hold official talks

Havana, May 31, 2021-. The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, and the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway, H.E. Mr. Jens Frølich Holte, highlighted this Monday the mutual interest in promoting bilateral relations during the virtual exchange held between the two countries.

Cuba and Norway reaffirm interest in multilateral coordination.

Oslo, Norway.- At a meeting held today between the Director-General for Multilateral Cooperation of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Merete Fjeld Brattested, with Chargé d´Affaires a.i. Mario Alzugaray, both sides noted the good state of relations between the two countries and the will to continue promoting a positive exchange and coordination on international issues.
