Tribute to Che in Norway

Ambassador of Cuba to Norway bids farewell to the delegation that will participate at the XXII International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties (IMCWP)
Oslo, October 23, 2022. The Cuban ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, bid farewell to the delegation of the Norwegian Communist Party (NKP) that will attend the XXII International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties (IMCWP), to be held in Havana from October 27 to 29.
The NKP delegation is headed by Runa Evensen, the president of the Party, and is also made up of Jim Høgfeldt, leader of the Trade Union Committee, and Jardar Nikolai Pettersen, president of the Young Communist League.
Cuban Ambassador exchanges with Norwegian People's Aid
Oslo, October 21, 2022. Ambassador of Cuba to Norway, Maité Rivero Torres, visited the main office of Norwegian Popular Aid (NPA) , where she was received by Gry Ballestad, director of Development and Humanitarian Cooperation, and Beate Thoresen, head of Section for Latin America.
In a cordial exchange, the Ambassador received a detailed explanation about NPA, in particular regarding its origins, mission, organizational structure, action inside the country and international work.

The delegation of the Cuban Unions of Public Administration Workers (SNTAP) and Communications, Information Technology and Electronics Workers (SNTCIE) that is in this capital participating in the V Congress of the Norwegian Union of Municipal and General Employees (Fagforbundet), exchanged at the Embassy with members of the Norway-Cuba Friendship Association and Cubans living in this European country.
