Cuban Ambassador pays a courtesy call to the President of the Norwegian Parliament (Storting)
Oslo, November 16, 2022. The president of the Norwegian Parliament (Storting), Masud Gharahkhani, received the Cuban ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, in a courtesy call.
In a cordial atmosphere, the Ambassador and Mr. Gharahkhani, who is a member of the Storting for the Labor Party, exchanged on the existing potential for developing the relations between both countries in the parliamentary field.
Omara Portuondo opens the Oslo World Music Festival 2022

A delegation from the Communist Party of Norway present at the XXII International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties, held in Havana
Oslo, October 30, 2022. A delegation from the Communist Party of Norway (NKP) took part in the XXII International Meeting of Communist and Workers Parties (IMCWP), held in Havana, from October 27 to 29, with the participation of 145 delegates, representing 77 parties from 60 countries.
The NKP delegation was headed by Runa Evensen, president of the Party, and was also made up of Jim Høgfeldt, leader of the Trade Union Committee, and Jardar Nikolai Pettersen, president of the Young Communist League.
Ambassador of Cuba to Norway takes part in a visit of the Diplomatic Corps to Svalbard
Oslo, October 28, 2022. Between the 11th and 13th of this month, the Cuban ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, responded positively to an invitation sent to the Diplomatic Corps by the Secretary General of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tore Hattrem, to make a visit to the archipelago of Svalbard, located in the Arctic Ocean.
Together with her colleagues from several countries, the Cuban diplomat fulfilled a program that included meetings with Lars Fause, Governor of Svalbard, and Jøran Moen, director of the University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS).
