On International Human Rights Day, friends of Cuba in Norway recognize Cuba's achievements in this area
Oslo, December 10, 2022. Members of the Norwegian Communist Party and the Norway-Cuba Friendship Association gathered in Olaf Ryes square, located in this city, to show their support for the Cuban Revolution and its achievements in the field of human rights.
They also called for the lifting of the US blockade, which constitutes the main obstacle to the country's economic development and violates the human rights of the Cuban people. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
Governing Mayor of Oslo gives a warm welcome to the Ambassador of Cuba
Oslo, November 30, 2022. The Governing Mayor of Oslo, Raymond Johansen, who is a member of the Labour Party, gave a warm welcome to the Cuban ambassador to Norway, Maité Rivero Torres, in his office in the City Hall.
Both parties exchanged about the governance system existing in Oslo and the current main lines of the work of the City Government, an executive body made up of the Governor and eight Vice Mayors.
