Newly appointed Foreign Secretary of Pakistan receives in Delhi the Ambassador of Cuba in Islamabad.

Islamabad, April 8, 2019. The newly appointed Foreign Secretary of Pakistan, H. E. Mr. Sohail Mahmood, who currently serves as High Commissioner of Pakistan in India, received the Ambassador of Cuba in Islamabad, Gabriel Tiel Capote, on a working visit to India. The foreign secretary thanked Cuba for the medical aid provided by the earthquake that struck Pakistan in 2005 and the granting of 1,000 scholarships to Pakistani students to study Medicine, while praising the figure of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro.

Islamabad, March 26, 2019. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, H. E. Mr. Shah Mahmood Qureshi, received today the ambassador of Cuba, Gabriel Tiel Capote, in the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry. The Minister thanked Cuba for its medical aid during the strong earthquake that hit areas of the country in 2005 and said that it highly values ​​the dignity of Cuba and its leader, Fidel Castro.

Islamabad, March 13, 2019. Today morning, the Cuban ambassador to Pakistan, Gabriel Tiel Capote, gave a talk to the professors and students of the Spanish Department of the National University of Foreign Languages ​​in Islamabad on the main aspects of the History and Culture of Cuba. The Rector of said University, Major General ® Zia Ud Din Najam, presided over the act that began with the national anthems of the two countries. Then the Rector gave a few words of welcome in which he praised Cuba.
