In an exclusive interview, the Ambassador of Cuba to Pakistan denounces the persistence and strengthening of the Blockade.
Islamabad, October 16, 2018.- The Cuban ambassador to Pakistan, Gabriel Tiel Capote, granted an exclusive interview to the magazine "Pakistan in the World" during which he denounced the persistence and strengthening of the blockade against Cuba and the damage caused to Cuban people for almost six decades. The ambassador referred to the Report of Cuba on the Blockade and the Resolution entitled “Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba” that will be vote on October 31 at the United Nations General Assembly.

CUBA AND PAKISTAN SIGNED A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN BOTH NATIONAL LIBRARIES
Islamabad, May 22, 2018. Cuba and Pakistan signed today a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Library of Cuba "José Martí" and the National Library of Pakistan. The MoU was signed by the Secretary of the National and Literary History Division of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Eng. Aamir Hasan, and the ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Gabriel Tiel Capote.
CUBA AND PAKISTAN STRENGTHEN INTER PARLIAMENTARY RELATIONS

The newly elected Pakistan Chairman Senate, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, received today the ambassador of Cuba, Gabriel Tiel Capote, who took the opportunity to congratulate him on his recent appointment as head of the Upper House. For its part, Sanjrani conveyed his congratulations to the President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba for his recent election.

Federal Minister of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination of Pakistan, Saira Afzal Tarar, received today the ambassador of Cuba, Gabriel Tiel Capote, who presented her a letter of invitation from his Cuban counterpart to participate in the International Public Health Conference "Cuba Salud 2018" that will take place in Havana from April 23 to 27 of this year.
