Pakistan calls for the immediate lifting of the blockade against Cuba

Pakistan-Cuba Social Forum called for the immediate lifting of the United States' blockade against Cuba, in the midst of this Covid-19 pandemic. The appeal as follows:

In the context of novel COVID-19 pandemic Pakistan-Cuba Social forum appeals to the United Nations, and the US President Donald Trump to immediately lift decades-long economic, financial and commercial blockade against Cuba in the face of the crisis caused by the global pandemic of the coronavirus causing the COVID-19 disease.

No panic, but no overconfidence either

The President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, appeared on the Mesa Redonda television-radio show, Friday March 20, along with Prime Minister Manuel Marrero and other ministers, to announce new measures adopted to confront Covid-19 in the country.

The Ambassador of Cuba to Pakistan participates in tree planting

Islamabad, March 8, 2020. The Cuban ambassador, Gabriel Tiel Capote, participated in the planting of a tree in the Margallas hills, about 30 km from Islamabad, as part of the Spring 2020 tree planting campaign, stimulated by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Pakistan Minister of Health receives the Ambassador of Cuba

Islamabad, January 8, 2019. The Minister of State for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination of Pakistan, Dr. Zafar Mirza, received today the ambassador of Cuba, Gabriel Tiel Capote, who delivered a letter-invitation from his Cuban counterpart to visit Cuba. The Minister accepted the invitation with pleasure and requested the Ambassador to convey his thanks to the Minister of Public Health of Cuba, visit to be processed through diplomatic channels.
