Castries, November 22, 2025 – A moving ceremony was held by the Cuban State Mission in Saint Lucia to pay tribute to the eternal Commander, Fidel Castro Ruz, on the ninth anniversary of his passing. The event also served as the venue for the delivery of a monetary donation from the Embassy staff and health and sports personnel, as a contribution to the victims of Hurricane Melissa in eastern Cuba.

The Morne, October 24, 2025 – The ambassadors to Saint Lucia of Mexico, Luis Manuel López Moreno; of Brazil, Colbert Soares Pinto Junior; of Venezuela, Leiff Ljubljana Escalona; and of Cuba, Yenielys Vilma Regueiferos Linares, resumed the organization of the 5th Latin American and Caribbean Film Festival, which will take place from November 10 to 14, 2025, at Sir Arthur Lewis Community College.
