Saint Lucia, May 2, 2025 – With the same enthusiasm as their colleagues offering their support in the capital of the sister island of Saint Lucia, Cuban health and sport collaborators in the city of Vieux Fort, in the south of the country, celebrated International Workers' Day.

Gros Islet, May 1, 2025 – With revolutionary fervor, joy, and enthusiasm, the Cuban state mission, together with members of the Saint Lucia-Cuba Friendship Association and Cuban residents, celebrated International Workers' Day.

The event, presided over by the ambassador-designate to the sister Caribbean Island, Yenielys Vilma Regueiferos Linares, included health and sports collaborators, graduates in Cuba, representatives of the solidarity movement, and Cuban residents. The Venezuelan Embassy team joined this important activity.

Artists from Saint Lucia reject the US blockade against Cuba.

Two of Saint Lucia’s most relevant artists made public their solidarity with Cuba and the rejection of the United States blockade as part of the global campaign against this policy. The most important sculptor in the country, Jallim Eudovic, and the painter and writer Alwyn St.

OECS Bids Farewell to Cuban Ambassador.

The Commission of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States paid tribute to the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba accredited to Saint Lucia and the OECS, H E Alejandro Simancas, with a virtual ceremony held in honour of his service to the region.Director General of the OECS, Dr Didacus Jules, in a heartfelt tribute to the Ambassador and the government and people of Cuba, revisited the history of brotherhood between the nations of the Caribbean basin and renewed calls on the United States administration to end the unfair treatment towards Cuba.
