Cuban Ambassador to Seychelles meets with Leader of Government Business in the Parliament
Victoria, May 21st, 2024._The Cuban Ambassador to Seychelles, Martha Hernández Caneiro, held a cordial meeting with the Government Business in the Parliament, Hon. Bernard George, in which they exchanged topics of interest in the bilateral agenda and expressed their willingness to continue developing the political-diplomatic dialogue and the relations of friendship and cooperation for the benefit of both peoples.
President of Cuba completes an intense day of work in the Russian Federation
The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, completed an intense work durin his visit to the Russian Federation. .
In the first activity in Moscow, the president paid tribute to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz (1926-2016), and placed a wreath before the monument that perpetuates his memory, in the square that bears his name in the Sokol neighborhood.
Previously, Díaz-Canel held a brief meeting with members of the Cuban state mission in the Eurasian nation.

In March 2024, the company Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales S.A. (YPF) of the Republic of Argentina informed the airline Cubana de Aviación of its refusal to continue supplying fuel to its aircrafts, in application of the United States blockade against Cuba.
Cuba reaffirms commitment to unity and peace at the XXIII ALBA-TCP Summit in Venezuela
Caracas, April 25 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel reaffirmed this Wednesday his country's commitment to unity, the defense of sovereignty and peace, during his speech at the XXIII ALBA-TCP Summit in the Venezuelan capital.
Díaz-Canel warned that imperialism persists in its project of domination "over our lands, finances and promotes violence, destabilization and hate speech." The president called for respect and compliance with the postulates of the proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace.
