Cuba reaffirms commitment to unity and peace at the XXIII ALBA-TCP Summit in Venezuela

Caracas, April 25 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel reaffirmed this Wednesday his country's commitment to unity, the defense of sovereignty and peace, during his speech at the XXIII ALBA-TCP Summit in the Venezuelan capital.

Díaz-Canel warned that imperialism persists in its project of domination "over our lands, finances and promotes violence, destabilization and hate speech."   The president called for respect and compliance with the postulates of the proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace.

Cuba and Seychelles sign cultural cooperation Agreement

Cuba and Seychelles signed today an agreement for cultural cooperation between the National Center of Art Schools of the Ministry of Culture of Cuba and the The Seychelles National Institute of Culture, Heritage and the Arts.

The Secretary General of the Institute David André and Cuban Ambassador in the African nation Martha Hernández signed the document, which will be in force for three years.

Cuban Embassy participates in the sports event ¨Relais autour du monde "Terre de Jeux 2024".

Victoria, March 14th. The Cuban Embassy participated in a sports activity organized by the French Embassy in Seychelles. The Chargé d'Affaires a.i., Tomas Mendez, thanked the Ambassador of France, H.E. Mrs. Olivia BERKELEY-CHRISTMANN, for the invitation and wished her country every success with the celebration of the games. Present at the event was the Principal Secretary for Youth and Sports of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr. Ralph Jean Louis, to whom we wish much success with the participation of Seychelles in the African Games being held in Accra, Ghana.
