Cuban Ambassador meets with the Director General of Bilateral Affairs of Seychelles.
Cuban Ambassador Martha Hernández Caneiro and the Director General of Bilateral Affairs of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Seychelles, Lindy Ernesta, held on Thursday a working meeting at the Foreign Ministry headquarters.
Both parties reviewed the main issues on the bilateral agenda, in the framework of the commemoration of 45 years of diplomatic relations, which will be celebrated on April 12.
The meeting took place in a cordial and friendly spirit in which the will to continue developing bilateral ties prevailed.

Cuba participates in the First Ambassador´s Talk with students at the University of Seychelles
The Ambassador of Cuba, Martha Hernández Caneiro, participated in the first Ambassador´s Talk with students and university teachers, an event organized by the University of Seychelles (Unisey).
In addition to the Cuban representative, the Heads of Mission of the Order of Malta, Russia, Sri Lanka, India, Libya and China participated, who presented some of the bilateral projects of their respective countries with Seychelles, mainly in the field of Education, Agriculture, Sustainable Development and Information Technology, among others.
African Union once again condemns US blockade against Cuba
The African Union (AU) once again condemned the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the US government against Cuba, on the last day of the 36th summit of the regional organization.
The adoption of the text entitled "Resolution on the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on the Republic of Cuba by the United States of America", ratified Africa's solidarity with the Caribbean archipelago and reiterated its support for the demand presented by Cuba every year at the United Nations.
Seychelles and Cuba united for Culture, Heritage and Art
The Cuban Ambassador to Seychelles held a fruitful working meeting with Cecille Kalebi, Principal Secretary and Sophia Rosalie, Senior Specialist of the National Institute for Culture, Heritage and Arts of Seychelles. Tomás Méndez Parra, Minister Counsellor of the Cuban diplomatic representation in the country also participated.

Cuban Ambassador to Seychelles Martha Hernandez Caneiro and Minister Counsellor Tomas Mendez Parra attended the Annual Diplomatic Cocktail hosted by the Seychelles Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism Sylvestre Radegonde.
In attendance were President Wavel Ramkalawan, Speaker of the National Assembly Roger Mancienne, Chief of Defence Forces Brigadier Michael Rosette, Ministers, members of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps and officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs, among other guests.
