The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba reiterates its deep concern about the escalation of violence between Israel and Palestine, which is a consequence of decades of Israeli illegal occupation and colonization practices, in flagrant violation of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people in its own territory, as well as the long-lasting disregard of the Purposes and Principles of the United Nations Charter and International Law, including numerous relevant UN resolutions.
Ambassador of Egypt visits the Cuban Embassy in Seychelles
Victoria, 11 october 2023._ Cuban Ambassador Martha Hernández Caneiro, received today H.E. Mr. Wael Nasr Eldin Attiya, who recently presented his credentials as Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Seychelles, with residence in Kenya.
During the cordial meeting, both parties reaffirmed the historic ties of friendship, respect and the will to continue strengthening economic and cooperation ties between the two countries.
Seychelles’ Cuban Medical Brigade showcases past achievements in Scientific Day celebration
In celebration of the annual Scientific Day, the Cuban Medical Brigade in Seychelles presented some case reports and results of their work during the past year under the health agreement signed between Seychelles and Cuba.
This took place at the Sheikh Khalifa diagnostic centre on Saturday in the presence of the Cuban ambassador to Seychelles, Martha Hernandez Caneiro; the Cuban consul in Seychelles, Tomas Mendez; Dr Reinel Rodriguez, president of the scientific community; Dr Danny Louange, chief executive of the Health Care Agency and other medical staff.
Cuban Ambassador to Seychelles participates in tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on the 154th anniversary of his birth.
Victoria, October 3, 2023._ The Cuban Ambassador to Seychelles, Martha Hernández Caneiro, participated in the tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, organized by the High Commission of the Republic of India in Seychelles.
The activity took place at the Peace Park in Victoria and was attended by Internal Affairs Minister Errol Fonseka, Local Government Minister Rose-Marie Hoareau, representatives of the Diplomatic Corps and the Indian community in Seychelles.
