Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa highlights legacy of historic leader of the Cuban Revolution in radio interview
Pretoria, Agosto 13, 2019.- As part of the tribute to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of his birth, the important South African radio station ”Channel Africa” of regional scope, dedicated, this August 13, a special program to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution.
Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa holds meeting with President of the Pan African Parliament
Pretoria, 7 August 2019.- The Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Rodolfo Benítez Verson, held a working meeting with the President of the Pan African Parliament (PAP) H.E. Mr. Roger Nkodo Dang in the headquarters of that important continental body, in Midrand, a locality in South Africa.
Both representatives, exchanged on the work carried out by that Parliament, which is one of the 9 bodies of the African Union and explored ways to continue to strengthen the relations of cooperation between the PAP and the National People’s Power Assembly of Cuba.
The first Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba arrived in South Africa to participate in the Bilateral Joint Consultative Mechanism Meeting
An official delegation from Cuba, chaired by the first Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marcelino Medina González, arrived today in South Africa to hold the Joint Consultative Mechanism Meeting for 2019.
This Mechanism is carried out each year, in this occasion, in the frame of the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, which were formalized on 11 May 1994. On the South African side, the meeting will be headed by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Alvin Botes.
