4th African Regional Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba concluded
Pretoria, 26 September, 2019.- Between September 23 and 25, the VI African Regional Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba took place in Abuja, Nigeria, under the slogan "Hands out of Cuba", in rejection of the aggressive escalation of the United States Government against Cuba. More than 150 delegates from 20 nations participated.
Cuba Presents New Report on Impact of USA Blockade

Cuban Vice-president Inés Chapman meets with former President of South Africa Thabo Mbeki
Pretoria, September 13, 2019.- Vice-president of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba Inés María Chapman Waugh, in her trip to Zimbabwe at the head of the Cuban delegation to the funeral of Robert Mugabe, exchanged salutations with South Africa’s former President Thabo Mbeki.
Thabo Mbeki, who held the South African presidency from 1999 to 2008, also traveled to Zimbabwe to take part in the funerals of former President Mugabe.
