Johannesburg, November 02, 2023 - The Cuban Embassy in South Africa participated in a seminar organised by the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU), about the Cuban health care system, in which representatives of NEHAWU, DENOSA and FOCUS in the Gauteng province also participated.

South Africa condemns the US blockade against Cuba at UN

New York, November 1, 2023.- For the thirty-first time, Cuba presents to the UN General Assembly the draft resolution that calls for an end to the cruel and criminal policy of the blockade. There have been many interventions in support of the Cuban Revolution, both inside and outside the UN, by social forces and actors who increasingly join in denouncing the blockade and unilateral sanctions against our country.

FOCUS expresses its rejection to the blockade against Cuba

Pretoria, 1 November 2023 - The Friends of Cuba Society organization, FOCUS, expressed its solidarity with the Cuban government and people through a strong statement, in which it also reaffirms its rejection of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against our country.

Pretoria, October 31, 2023.- The Cuban Ambassador to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, was received by the Chief Director for the Americas of the South African Department of International Relations and Cooperation, Ambassador Bonna and the Director for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, Ms. Lulama Rulumeni, in order to carry out a periodic review of the main issues of bilateral interest.
