Cuban Ambassador to South Africa participates in tribute to Chris Mathlako

April 28, 2023.- The Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, participated in the tribute held in the city of Johannesburg to the South African communist and great friend of Cuba, Chris Mathlako, who recently died. Ambassadors from other countries and multiple South African organizations also participated.

April 26, 2023.- The South African Company, Mzansi Ballet, directed by Dirk Badenhorst, premiered the show "The Gold Rhino of Mapungubwe" which features talented Cuban dancers graduated from the National School of Art. This amazing piece of art highlights the importance of keeping history and traditions alive.

Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa participates in tribute to Oliver R. Tambo

April 24, 2023.- The Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, participated in the tribute to the former president of the ANC, Oliver R. Tambo, on the 30th anniversary of his death. The tribute was presided over by the President of the Republic, Cyril Ramaphosa and the Premier of Gauteng, Panyaza Lesufi.

Cuban Ambassador to South Africa concludes visit to Limpopo

April 22, 2023.- The Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Enrique Orta, concluded a visit to the province of Limpopo, where he completed an extensive program of activities. This included meetings with officials and the leadership of the provincial government, as well as the main political forces. The Ambassador held exchanges with the Premier and the PEC.
