Ambassador of Cuba in South Africa starts visit to Limpopo

April 20, 2023.- The Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, started a visit to the South African province of Limpopo this Thursday, accompanied by several officials from the diplomatic mission. As part of the working program, the Ambassador held a fruitful meeting with the provincial Premier, Mr. Stanley Mathabatha.

Ambassador of Cuba in South Africa visits the University of Venda

April 20, 2023.- The Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, paid a visit to the University of Venda, as part of the program of activities that he carries out in the province of Limpopo. There, he met the vice-chancellor, Dr. Bernard Nthambeleni and they discussed about the potential to develop and strengthen bilateral ties between this university and its Cuban counterparts.

Embassy of Cuba in South Africa meets with Department of Public Works

Pretoria, April 13, 2023. - The third secretary of the Cuban Embassy in South Africa, Bryan Betancourt Brito, held a meeting with officials from the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure. Pedro Silvino Pérez Leyva, coordinator of the UNECA brigade that works in the country, and other members of the State Mission also attended the meeting.

Relations between SASCO and Cuba are strengthened

Pretoria, April 5, 2023.- The Third Secretary of the Cuban Embassy in South Africa, Bryan Betancourt, held a fraternal meeting with the deputy president of the South African Students Congress (SASCO), Julia Mtsweni. Lauren Luis, an official from the Embassy and the SASCO representative in the province of Gauteng also participated in the meeting.
