Cuba and South Africa celebrate XVII Joint Consultative Mechanism
Pretoria, March 28, 2023.- The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Elio Rodríguez Perdomo, and the South African Vice Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Alvin Botes, chaired the XVII Meeting of Inter-Foreign Ministry Political Consultations between Cuba and South Africa on Tuesday morning.

Pretoria, March 27, 2023.- The member of the National Executive Committee of the African National Congress (ANC), Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, received this morning the Cuban deputy minister of Foreign Affairs, Elio Rodríguez Perdomo who is currently in an official visit to the country. The director for Sub-Saharan Africa of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, Luis Alberto Amorós, and the Cuban ambassador to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, also participated in the meeting.
Cuban deputy minister meets with the general secretary of the South African Communist Party
Pretoria, March 27, 2023.- The Cuban deputy minister of Foreign Affairs, Elio Rodríguez Perdomo, was received by the general secretary of the South African Communist Party (SACP), Solly Mapaila. Luis Alberto Amorós, director for Sub-Saharan Africa of the Cuban Foreign Ministry also participated in the meeting.
Cuban deputy minister of Foreign Affairs meets with members of the Cuban State Mission in South Africa
Pretoria, March 27, 2023.- The Cuban deputy minister of Foreign Affairs, Elio Rodríguez Perdomo, accompanied by the Director for Sub-Saharan Africa of the Foreign Ministry, Luis Alberto Amorós, held a meeting with the members of the Cuban State Mission in South Africa. Collaborators from the different brigades that work in the country participated, as well as the embassy staff.
Cuban Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs participates in commemoration of the 35th anniversary of the Cuito Cuanavale battle
Pretoria, March 26, 2023.- The Cuban Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elio Rodríguez Perdomo, who heads a delegation from the Cuban Foreign Ministry to South Africa, participated in the commemoration of the 35th anniversary of the Cuito Cuanavale battle, held today at the South African capital. The day was organized by the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture of that country, in tribute to the thousands of fallen heroes for the definitive liberation of southern Africa.
