Cape Times publishes article by the Cuban Ambassador in South Africa

Pretoria, March 24, 2023.- The prestigious national and regional newspaper, Cape Times, published the article "Cuito Cuanavale symbol of resistance", authored by the Cuban Ambassador to South Africa, Enrique Orta González. The Ambassador highlighted in his words the importance of the battle of Cuito Cuanavale, a turning point in the history of southern Africa and the decisive participation of Cuban combatants. Their presence was the payment of a historical debt from Cuba to Africa. 

Díaz-Canel highlights the values of Cuban diplomacy

President Ramaphosa recalls the Cuban Literacy Campaign

Cape Town, March 10, 2023.- The President of the Republic of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, referred to the Literacy Campaign developed in Cuba at the beginning of the Revolution, as part of his speech at the Nelson Mandela Youth Dialogue, which brought together young people from more than 20 countries in Africa.
