Havana, September 21, 2022.- The South African Basic Education Minister, Mrs. Angie Motshekga, heads a large delegation that is making an official visit to Cuba. Officials from the Department of Basic Education and members of the Executive Committee of the provinces of Mpumalanga and Limpopo are part of this delegation.

Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa meets with the South African Communist Party General Secretary

Pretoria, September 20, 2022.- The Ambassador of Cuba to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, held a fruitful exchange today with the South African Communist Party (SACP) General Secretary, Solly Mapaila. Lefika Chetty, member of the South African Friends of Cuba Society (FOCUS) and Bryan Betancourt Brito, Third Secretary of the Cuban Embassy in Pretoria in charge of Political Affairs, also participated in the meeting.

South Africa, Lesotho and Eswatini celebrate Family Code Referendum

Pretoria, September 18, 2022.- This Sunday, Cubans serving diplomatic and official missions in South Africa, Lesotho and Eswatini exercised their right to vote in the Referendum on the new Family Code. On the five continents, more than a thousand polling stations were set up, coordinated by 123 special councils.
