Repeating a Lie Doesn’t Make It True: Cuba does not support terrorism. Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The U.S. government once again discredits itself by unjustly including Cuba on the List of countries that “do not fully cooperate with its anti-terrorism efforts”.
Once again, the State Department turns the fight against international terrorism into a unilateral political exercise against countries that do not bow to its hegemonic interests.
Sri Lankan Graduates in Cuba from the Central Province received the Cuban Ambassador
Kandy, April 5, 2025. During his visit to the city of Kandy, Cuban Ambassador Andrés Marcelo González Garrido was received by a group of doctors who graduated from Cuban universities and reside in this region of Sri Lanka.
During the meeting, the ambassador updated them on the situation in Cuba, the people's resistance to the tightening of the United States economic blockade and the measures announced by the new administration, as well as on the media campaigns orchestrated by enemies of the revolution to discredit Cuban medical cooperation.

Kandy, April 5, 2025. The Cuban Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Andrés Marcelo González Garrido, was received by Professor Sarath Abeykoon, Governor of the Central Province of Sri Lanka, at the Central Provincial Council, located in the city of Kandy.
During the meeting, they discussed possible areas of cooperation between Cuba and the Central Province of Sri Lanka, as well as the historic relations of friendship and solidarity that endure between the two countries. He updated him on the bilateral relationship.
