Cuban ambassador received President of Sri Lanka Chamber of Tourism and Industry

Colombo, March 26, 2025. The Cuban Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Andrés Marcelo González Garrido, received Mr. A. M. Jaufer, President of the Sri Lanka Chamber of Tourism and Industry, at the Cuban diplomatic mission in Colombo.
During the meeting, they discussed opportunities for cooperation in tourism, and he provided extensive information on FITCuba 2025, which will take place from April 30 to May 3 in Havana, at the Morro Cabaña Complex.

Colombo, February 28, 2025. With the presence of the Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka, Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne and the Cuban ambassador, Andrés Marcelo González Garrido, the Sri Lanka-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Association was officially reconstituted.
In his introductory remarks, the Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka expressed the satisfaction of establishing the Friendship Association with a country like Cuba, with which they have been united for more than 60 years of solid brotherhood and cooperation in health, sports, education, etc.
