Ambassador of Cuba participates in Nice Radio program.

 

Kingstown, 17 April 2024. - Cuban Ambassador to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry paid a courtesy call to Mr. Douglas Defreitas, director of Nice Radio 101.31 FM and took part in a radio program in which he briefly greeted the radio listeners of the popular station.

The Cuban diplomat expressed that it is a great honour to represent Cuba in this sister Caribbean nation with which there are historic ties of friendship and cooperation in areas such as Health and Education, and assured that he intends and will continue to create spaces for increasing the bilateral collaboration in all possible areas.

Cuban Ambassador exchanges with editor of Searchlight newspaper.

Kingstown, April 17, 2024. – The editor of the Vincentian newspaper Searchlight, Mrs. Corletha Ollivierre, visited this morning the Embassy of Cuba to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and was received by the Ambassador Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry.

During the exchange several topics related to Cuba, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the regional and global situation were addressed. The Ambassador gave details about the current situation in Cuba and highlighted elements linked to the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against our people.

Cuban Ambassador paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Education of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

 

Kingstown, April 16, 2024. - The Cuban Ambassador to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry, paid a courtesy visit this morning to the Minister of Education, H.E. Mr. Curtis King, who was accompanied by Permanent Secretary, Mr. Myccle Burke.

The pleasant meeting helped to address issues associated with bilateral cooperation in this important area, particularly in the area of special education, where a joint project should begin shortly.

Director of the St. Vincent Times visits Cuban embassy.

Kingstown, April 16, 2024. - The editor and founder of the Saint Vincent Times, Mr. Ernesto Cooke, visited this morning the headquarters of the Embassy of Cuba in this country and he was received by the Ambassador of Cuba, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry.

During the exchange different issues related to the regional and international situation were addressed. The ambassador gave the journalist elements about the current Cuban reality, the effects caused by the intensification of the United States blockade, as well as an update on the state of bilateral cooperation between Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

St. Vincent Times is a young media, founded in November 2015, but with great acceptance among the Vincentian population.
