Vincentian Minister of Sports receives the Cuban Ambassador.
Kingstown, May 24, 2024. The Minister of Sports of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, His Excellency. Mr. Frederik Stephenson, received this morning the Cuban Ambassador to this country, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry.
The occasion was favorable to assess possibilities of bilateral cooperation in disciplines such as Soccer, Athletics, Volleyball and Basketball, very popular sports in this Caribbean nation.
The Minister stated that he is a great admirer of Cuban sports and their Olympic and world achievements.
He recalled with nostalgia the successes of his cousin, the multi-time boxing champion Teófilo Stevenson, glory of Cuban sports, whose parents were born in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
API Agency interviews Cuban Ambassador
Kingstown, May 22, 2024. - On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Agency for Public Information (API) interviewed the Cuban Ambassador, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry, where different topics were addressed.

Kingstown, May 14, 2024. Members of the Cuba Solidarity Movement in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines visited today the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in this Caribbean nation and were received by the Cuban ambassador, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry.
During the meeting, several topics associated with bilateral relations, as well as the regional and international context, were addressed. The Vincentian friends reaffirmed their unconditional support for the Cuban Revolution and sent a message of support and accompaniment to the Cuban people, who is currently facing a complex economic situation due to the tightening of the US blockade.
Cuban Ambassador paids a working visit to Bequia Island.
Kingstown, May 14, 2024. The Cuban Ambassador to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry, paid a working visit to Bequia, the second most populated and economically important island of this brother country.
The Ambassador was received by the highest authority of the island, Mr. Carlos Williams, deputy director for Grenadine Affairs, with whom he discussed matters related to bilateral cooperation in the fields of sports and electrical engineering.
The Cuban diplomat visited a group of compatriots residents on the island, with whom he exchanged about the current situation in Cuba, the national culture and the importance of representing the homeland with dignity and pride wherever one might be.

Cuban Ambassador holds working meeting with Permanent Secretary of Transport and Works.
Kingstown, May 7, 2024 - Cuban Ambassador to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Works of this country, Ms. Lavern Grant held a working meeting this morning.
The occasion provided an opportunity to discuss issues related to the current state of bilateral collaboration. Ms. Grant acknowledged the work done by the UNECA engineer brigade that works on Vincentian soil and the Ambassador expressed his desire to expand his membership.
In Saint Vincent and the Grenadines operates the largest UNECA engineer brigade in the Caribbean and given the development and expansion of the construction sector in this country, there are conditions for the Brigade to continue growing
