Public denunciation by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba of the preparations of the Third CELAC-UE Summit

The Third CELAC-EU Summit of Heads of State and Government will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on July 17 and 18.

The leaders from both regions will meet again after an 8-year hiatus, in the midst of a very complex international context.

The truth is that, over and above statements and declarations, bi-regional relations have hardly advanced and during the most recent period they have even regressed.

The Summit can be an opportunity to start changing that situation.  But there are reasons for concern.

Tourism Office holds a meeting with TUI Nordic

Stockholm, July 6, 2023- Eddy Santos, Tourism Counsellor of the Cuban Embassy in Sweden, held a working meeting with the second most important tour operator in the Nordic market, TUI Nordic.

The Tourism Office of the Embassy of Cuba in Sweden holds meeting with the Nordic Leisure Group.

Stockholm, June 29, 2023- Eddy Santos, Tourism Counselor of the Cuban Embassy in Sweden, held a working meeting with the main tour operator of the Nordic market, Nordic Leisure Group.

During the meeting, actions were agreed to boost tourism operations between the two countries. These agreements include the incorporation of more Cuban hotels in the Nordic Leisure Group reservation system, expanding the destinations in Cuba offered by the tour operator and facilitating the promotion of Cuban destinations.

Deputy head of mission holds a meeting with members of RESOCAL

Stockholm, June 21, 2023-. The business manager a. Yo. from the Embassy of Cuba in Sweden, Yohanna Cordero, held a fruitful meeting with the Secretary-General and members of the solidarity organization RESOCAL.
During the meeting, various topics of common interest and of the Latin American region were addressed, highlighting the participation of RESOCAL members in the next People's Summit, which will take place in Brussels on July 17 and 18.

President Miguel Díaz-Canel holds a meeting with Pope Francis

Vatican City, June 20, 2023. The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, paid a visit to the Holy See today, where he was received in a private audience by Pope Francis.

The exchange made it possible to verify the positive state of bilateral relations. Topics of interest on the international agenda were also addressed.
