Cuba's National Rebellion Day is celebrated in Stockholm Square
Stockholm, July 26, 2022- Solidarity friends and cubans residing in Sweden gathered in the central square of Medborgarplatsen, in Stockholm, to celebrate the Day of National Rebellion.
Ambassador Alba Soto, signified the historical importance of the date, while she thanked those present for all the support and solidarity received for so many years from the people and government of Cuba.

On July 11, one year of the triumph of the Cuban people over the soft coup attempt encouraged by the internal counterrevolution and the US government to overthrow the Cuban Revolution was commemorated.
One year after the resounding victory of the Cuban people over lies, immense shows of solidarity and encouragement to Cuba were added in all parts of the world. Also from several Swedish cities, friends of solidarity and Cuban residents raised their voices to speak out on the matter.
Message from President Miguel Díaz-Canel to the Summit of the Peoples
Dear Manolo; comrades who are participating in the Summit of the Peoples;
I was not wrong when I said that I will not be in the Summit of the Americas but the voice of Cuba certainly will.
You are our voice. The Revolution has always had it very clear: wherever governments deprive us from our voice, peoples will be there to represent us, to speak on our behalf.
Cuban residents and friends of solidarity in the May Day parade in Stockholm, demanded the end to the blockade against Cuba.
Stockholm, Sweden, May Day, 2022- Friends of solidarity in Sweden and Cubans residing in the Nordic country, paraded this May Day through the central streets of Stockholm to commemorate International Workers' Day and condemn the US Blockade to the people of Cuba.
The participants carried colorful posters allegorical to the date, as well as other large ones that demanded the end of the blockade on the Island. Several generations met and acclaimed for a more just and peaceful world.
Celebration for the anniversary of the Victory of Playa Girón in Stockholm
With a cultural political activity that brought together friends from the different solidarity organizations with Cuba, representatives of the Swedish Communist Party, Cubans residing in the Nordic country and the Solidarity Network with Latin America, it was held at the Embassy of Cuba in Sweden the anniversary of the victory of Playa Girón.
