Mayor of Banjul received the Cuban ambassador

The newly elected mayoress of Banjul, Rohey Malick Lowe welcomed the Cuban ambassador, Lázaro Herrera, at her City Council´s office in Banjul, where they held a fraternal exchange. In a cordial and friendly atmosphere, the Cuban diplomat congratulated mayoress Malick Lowe for her election as head of City Hall and for being the first woman to hold this responsibility in The Gambia.

President of the Republic of The Gambia receives Cuban Ambassador

H.E. Mr. Adama Barrow, President of the Republic of The Gambia received in audience, at the State House, the Ambassador of Cuba in that country, Lazaro Herrera Martínez. In the opportunity the diplomat of the island conveyed the President greetings of the Cuban Government and people.

In a cordial and friendly atmosphere, both parties expressed a willingness to strengthen bilateral ties.

The Gambian leader thanked Cuba for its assistance in the health sector, which he considered of vital importance to guarantee medical attention to the population of his country.

In a cordial and friendly atmosphere, the meeting between the Cuban ambassador in Gambia, Lázaro Herrera and the General Secretary of the Popular Democratic Organization for Independence and Socialism (PDOIS) took place. English), Halifa Sallah, in the residence of the latter.

During the meeting, which took place in a cordial and friendly atmosphere, both interlocutors expressed their willingness to work for the strengthening of bilateral ties in all spheres.
