Kuala Lumpur October 19, 2025. The local cultural project "Rueda at the Park” celebrated its third year as part of the celebration of Cuban Culture Day by dancing la Rueda de Casino.

This group of enthusiastic casino dance lovers are promoters of Cuban culture in Asia, and this Sunday they celebrated to the rhythm of Van Van.

The richness of Cuban culture have crossed borders, and its contagious rhythms, such as Casino, are enjoyed and taught by dance academies in Kuala Lumpur.

We welcomed at our Embassy the distinguished member of our community, the choreographer and dancer, Juan Pujals, Director of the Cultural Project Havana Pink. Ambassador Mrs. Beatriz Parra González was grateful for his ideas and concepts for the cultural evening ot the 66th Anniversary of the Triumph of Revolution. It was appreciated his interest in highlighting the cultural values ​​of Cuba in this celebration in Finland that will count with recognized artists of both countries.

Victoria, October 24._ Organized by the University of Seychelles, the Cuban Embassy participated in the celebration of the United Nations Day. This year the Cuban diplomatic representation was a special guest at the celebration of this important date, in the framework of which an exhibition about the Cuban culture was presented.

On this occasion, materials about our traditions, music, literature, plastic arts and videos of the main tourist destinations of the Big Island  of the Antilles were exhibited.

Addis Ababa, May 17, 2024.- Organized by the Organization for Southern Cooperation (OSC), the first edition of the Festival of the Great South : Peoples on the Move, Living Cultures will take place in Ethiopia on May 18, 2024, an event that is rooted in the infinite richness of the heritage of the peoples,  the communities and nations of the Great South.
