Cuba and New Zealand promote bilateral relations and cooperation
NEW ZEALAND, October 9, 2018 – The Cuban 1st Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marcelino Medina González and his New Zealander counterpart Brook Barrington, highlighted this Friday to promote bilateral relations between the two countries in the context of the visit the Cuban deputy foreign minister is paying to this country.

With H.E. Mr. Nguyen Hai Bang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to Thailand, paying tribute to the recently deceased former Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and former Prime Minister Do Muoi.
On behalf of the people and government of the Republic of Cuba, I conveyed to the people and government of that country our deepest sorrow for the passing away on October 1st of a dear friend of Cuba.

Havana Nights in Thailand!
For the first time, Thailand Tatler Magazine picked a country and a city as the theme for its annual celebration - the Magazine's 27th Anniversary in 2018 dedicated to Havana, Cuba.
450 participants gathered with one dress code: "Cuban Fiesta".
At the wonderful event, with Cuban musicians and Latin American and Caribbean dances, the 60th Anniversaries of the Cuban Revolution and of the Thai-Cuba diplomatic relations were highlighted.
THE US BLOCKADE AGAINST #CUBA PERSISTS AND VIOLATES THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF THE CUBAN PEOPLE #UnblockCuba
The US economic, commercial and financial blockade against #Cuba is rejected and condemned by the international community for its unjust, extraterritorial and genocidal character. It has been enforced for more than 55 years against the small developing island state and maintains full strength in flagrant violation of International Law, according to Article II of the Geneva Convention and the Charter of the United Nations.
Since the London Naval Conference in 1909, it is accepted principle of International Law that "a blockade is an act of war."
