“Cuba Única” Roadshow in Türkiye

With the aim of strengthening tourism and cultural ties between Cuba and Türkiye and promoting tourism and culture in the Pearl of the Caribbean, the “Cuba Única” Roadshow is being organized. This traveling initiative will visit five key cities in the Eurasian country: Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Izmir, and Istanbul.

The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Türkiye and the José Martí Association of Friendship with Cuba organized a bicycle parade that traveled through several avenues and streets of Ankara, the country's capital, to mark the 99th anniversary of the birth of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz and to launch the activities that will lead up to the celebration of the centenary of his birth in 2026.

The Cuban Ambassador toTürkiye, Alejandro Díaz Palacios, held a cordial meeting with Ms. Kamila Çaba, former deputy of the Justice and Development Party (AKPARTI).

During the meeting, both parties discussed issues of mutual interest, including opportunities to strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation between Cuba and Turkey. Former deputy Çaba expressed her admiration for the history, culture, and resilience of the Cuban people, while the ambassador highlighted the value of maintaining an open and constructive dialogue with political and social actors in Turkey.
