Cuba still without visas for pre-Olympic baseball in the US
Havana, 19 May 2021. The Cuban Baseball Federation (FCB) reported today that the delegation that must attend the Pre-Olympic of the Americas does not yet have the visas to enter the United States.
The organization reiterated in its Twitter account that it is the responsibility of the Government of Washington, as the host country, to guarantee this process, while at the same time ratifying "the commitment to our people to compete to reach the Olympic classification, as is their right."
MINSAP updates about the health intervention with Abdala and Soberana 02
Havana, 18 May 2021. Some 455,908 people have already received the first doses of the vaccine candidates Abdala or Soberana 02, as part of the health intervention in risk groups and territories authorized by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), which began in the country in the first fortnight May, Dr. Francisco Durán García, National Director of Epidemiology of the Minsap, notified in a press conference.
