Díaz-Canel endorses principles of the First Declaration of Havana
Havana, September 2, 2020. Cuban President, Miguel Díaz-Canel, today endorsed the validity of the First Declaration of Havana, approved 60 years ago here.
It is a proclamation of principles presented by the leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro and approved by the General Assembly of the People, meeting in the Plaza de la Revolucion in this capital on September 2, 1960.
Marriott hotel chain abandons Cuba due to Trump's pressure
Brussels, September 1, 2020. The US hotel chain Marriott International abandoned its operations in Cuba on Tuesday due to the Trump government's pressure, the sector in Europe reported today.
