Cuba denounces to the Security Council conspirational silence of the United States after terrorist attack to the Cuban Embassy in Washington
New York, 6 August 2020. Today, Cuba endorsed its position at the virtual Open Debate of the Security Council on “Threats to International Peace and Security: Linkage between International Terrorism and Organized Crime”, where it extensively expressed its profound rejection and condemnation of all terrorist acts, methods and practices in all its forms and manifestations, whatever their motivations. It stated that the country has never permitted, nor will it ever permit its territory to be used to plan terrorist acts against any State.
Eusebio Leal Spengler has died: Forever yours, dear Historian
Havana, July 31, 2020. This Friday morning, Eusebio Leal Spengler died, following a long, painful illness.
In accordance with his family’s wishes, Leal’s ashes will be preserved, and once the COVID-19 epidemic is under control, in just recognition of his enduring work, our people will be able to pay their respects at the Capitol in Havana, an emblematic edifice restored under his guidance, for the benefit of the nation.

De facto authorities in Bolivia, on the afternoon of July 21, publicly reported that the building known as the "Clinica del Colaborador," owned by the Republic of Cuba, which was violently raided by police on November 15, 2019, would be made available, in the next few days, to treat Bolivian citizens with COVID-19.
