Vice Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Exchange of the United Arab Emirates on a working visit to Cuba

The Vice Minister of CITMA Armando Rodríguez Batista received His Excellency Abdulla Nasser Lootah, Vice Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Exchange of the United Arab Emirates upon his arrival in Cuba on a working visit.

The latter's agenda will include dialogue with Cuban Government institutions, with emphasis on territorial development and innovation.

There is only one Cuba

On May 28, the Government of the United States finally announced a group of measures aimed at implementing the policy announced on May 16, 2022.  The purpose of this step, according to the text published by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), is to support the private sector in Cuba.

Cuba takes part in the 2024 World Judo Championships in Abu Dhabi

The 2024 World Judo Championships in Abu Dhabi are shaping up to be a spectacular event, and Cuba is ready to make its mark. From May 19 to 25, the Mubadala Arena will be the center of attention, bringing together 676 athletes from 109 nations, just 70 days before the Paris Olympic Games. Cuba will send a formidable delegation made up of seven elite judokas, willing to demonstrate their skill and preparation in this high-level competition.

Envoy of the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates visits Cuba

On May 13, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, held a cordial meeting with Omar Hassan Shehadeh, envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, at the headquarters of the Cuban Foreign Ministry.

During the exchange, the good state of bilateral relations was highlighted. Rodríguez Parrilla reiterated the will of our Government to continue advancing in the implementation of the agreements reached in the recent visit of President Miguel Díaz-Canel to this Arab nation.
